Bookkeeping for Real Estate Agencies
Your agency’s own books, kept by people who understand where the money comes from. Bills, payroll, super and bank reconciliation for your general account, done in Xero and kept ready for your accountant.
Your general account, looked after
Accounts Payable
Supplier bills for your general account captured, sent to you for approval and paid on time. Each one is matched when it clears, so nothing is counted twice.
Payroll
Pay runs drafted for your sign-off, with commission and leave confirmed before the run. Once you approve, it’s reported to the ATO through Single Touch Payroll.
Superannuation
Since 1 July 2026, Payday Super means super has to reach each employee’s fund within 7 business days of payday. We submit it with every pay run.
Bank Reconciliation
Your general account reconciled in Xero against your own coding history. Anything we can’t place comes back to you as a question, never a guess.
Tax-Ready Books
GST coded correctly and payroll reported as it happens. Your accountant prepares BAS and the year-end accounts, starting from clean numbers.
Financial Reporting
Clear reports on how the agency is tracking, so decisions about staff, marketing and growth are made on real figures.
Agency books start in the trust account
Most of an agency’s income starts life in trust. Management fees, letting fees and sales commission cross into the general account at disbursement or settlement. A bookkeeper who has never worked a trust account sees lump sums. We see the transactions behind them.
Bookkeeping works best alongside our trust accounting, but you can have it on its own. Either way, we work in Xero and alongside your accountant, so what reaches them at BAS time and year-end is clean.
